SimplicityPDFeditor was born of years spent in other PDF programs as an ordinary user — noticing which functions actually get used, and which only add clutter and cost. So it deliberately stays simple: the everyday jobs, done properly, without asking you to pay for a hundred features when you need five.

Most PDF tools burn your marks in permanently when you save. This one does not. Marks are stored as data alongside the original, so you can reopen the file — tomorrow or a year from now — and move, change or delete what you drew. The file still behaves like an ordinary PDF everywhere else.
If something must be locked permanently — a redaction that must not be reversible, for example — use Flatten. Everything is then drawn into the page for real.
